thE Origin

It was a sudden idea..... hatched spontaneously, after happening upon a varied assortment of nail polish; some of the bottles seemingly rather old. They belonged to my mom and I thought: "She's never going to use all these...I'll use them in a painting somehow!" You see, I don't like wasting things. It just bothers me. Food, clothing, water., etc...
So, for the first piece, I created my own "nail" stickers, (to coincide with the medium. Kind of dumb, but whatevs, ha.. ) using some adhesive name tags. Once I had drawn & cut them out, I placed them randomly upon the canvas.... Then went Jackson Pollock style, with selected bottles of Polish. A day later, meticulously finding and pulling off each sticker.........VOILA!
